Junior Honors Program
This recital features the best students of our Dayton Music Club teachers, up through grade 12. Members of the DMC who paid their annual dues by June 30, 2021 may choose up to three of their students to audition for this recital. Performers for this recital will be chosen by a team of judges, whose decisions are final. Soloists (vocal, instrumental, piano) may audition. Small ensembles may also audition, though each student in the ensemble must be a student of a DMC member.

Youth Programs
Junior Music Clubs
The Dayton Music Club is committed to enhancing music education opportunities for
developing musicians. Each year, the club awards several scholarships for young
students furthering their musical training. These students are honored at the annual Winners’ Recital and are invited to perform for the club members and Dayton
community.
In order for students to audition for performance or scholarship opportunities, he/she
must study with a member of The Dayton Music Club.
DMC Membership offers active teachers opportunities to motivate and encourage their students through performance and scholarship. All students are welcome and encouraged to join one of the affiliated Junior Music Clubs. Membership affords young musicians the opportunity for expanding their experience, knowledge and leadership ability in the music field.
